The Cure for Boredom?
Amazon’s Kindle device is slowly building a solid fan base amongst the techno-geek set. The device seems all too perfect for the techno-geek-anesthesia-provider caught with some spare time on his hands. I am not advocating reading in the OR by any means. That topic has been covered quite well here. But in-between cases or during certain times of the day when it seems like one is watching paint dry…a quick peek at the headlines may make the hours go by much quicker. This robust little device is way more discreet than what is pictured above.
